Modranska is a place where tradition and craftsmanship with a story come to life. The handcrafted ceramics from the modranska workshop blend history with modern design, bringing unique pieces with soul into homes. Every cup, plate, or vase carries the legacy of the masterful art of modranska majolica, adorned with traditional patterns like "modranska," "zver" (wildlife), or "kvet" (flower).
Collaboration with local artisans and designers from across Slovakia breathes new life into old techniques and shapes, preserving the rich heritage of our ancestors. Beyond the products themselves, modranska opens the door to the world of ceramics through workshops where anyone can create their own unique piece and experience the magic of traditional modelling.
Modranska is not just about ceramics – it’s about connecting tradition, creativity, and inspiration, touching the heart of every admirer of beauty and craftsmanship.
Our mission is to promote Slovak manufacturers and service providers. We show that buying Slovak products makes sense, that they provide quality, a good price and value. We present the essence of Slovak manufacturing through the story of the production process. The main ambition is to help products penetrate other markets abroad.
We use our communication channels and videos to show how products are made and of what kind of quality in Slovakia. In our project, we focus on Slovak quality, competitiveness and the export potential of domestic products. We support a broad spectrum of producers, from iconic favourites like Chrumky and Horalky, through beverages, wine and beer, to innovative products and traditional Slovak products, such as the fujara and bryndza cheese.
