RONA is one of the oldest and most significant glass manufacturers in Slovakia and worldwide. For more than 130 years, it has been producing premium lead-free drinkware made of crystal glass, which has found its place in homes, restaurants, hotels, and industrial sectors across the globe.
Based in Lednické Rovne, the company combines the tradition of glassmaking craftsmanship with modern technologies and precise design. RONA takes pride not only in its manufacturing know-how and skilled workforce, but also in the fact that most of its products are made directly in Slovakia, carrying a strong message of local production on a global scale.
Every glass, goblet, and carafe are the result of meticulous craftsmanship — from hand-blown pieces to high-quality machine-made production. RONA products can be found all over the world, in prestigious interiors, luxury hotels, and on-board leading airlines and cruise lines.
Our mission is to promote Slovak manufacturers and service providers. We show that buying Slovak products makes sense, that they provide quality, a good price and value. We present the essence of Slovak manufacturing through the story of the production process. The main ambition is to help products penetrate other markets abroad.
We use our communication channels and videos to show how products are made and of what kind of quality in Slovakia. In our project, we focus on Slovak quality, competitiveness and the export potential of domestic products. We support a broad spectrum of producers, from iconic favourites like Chrumky and Horalky, through beverages, wine and beer, to innovative products and traditional Slovak products, such as the fujara and bryndza cheese.
